

A total solar eclipse will take place Monday, August 21, 2017 at 1:21pm. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby totally or partly obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth. Click here for more information about start and stop times.
Known as the “crossroads of the eclipse,” Carbondale is special in that it will experience both the 2017 total solar eclipse AND the 2024 total solar eclipse.
Our famous organic deli will be open for special hours and offering a special menu for the Eclipse. Friday, August 18th through Monday August 22nd, the deli will be open from 11am - 3pm. Click the here to see the menu.

The Family Fun Zone will be open from 11am - 7pm , August 19 - 21, 2017 at the Town Square Pavilion, N. Illinois Ave. at Route 13. It will feature a 20ft water slide, games and prizes, a bouncy house, music, and kids' crafts.
The Town Square Market will be featuring delicious food and beverages including grilled hamburgers, chips, water, and sodas.
