About Us
The Town Square Market wants to redefine how you think about grocery shopping. Our mission is to promote sustainable living by affordably providing wholesome food, supplements, personal care and wellness products, as well as earth-friendly household supplies. We work with local farmers and small businesses to provide an outlet for local products that promote health and well-being. We provide educational opportunities for our customers to learn the principles and practices of sustainable living. Since our opening in 2006, we’ve been located in the historic district of Carbondale, Illinois.

Special care is given to the selection of everything in our store.
Building community is one of our goals. At Town Square Market we support local farmers who provide us with produce, meat, and eggs raised in a sustainable, eco-friendly manner. We also consider each product’s impact on the environment and avoid GMO ingredients and products considered harmful.
